MiniDV tape camcorder. Digitalized using DV conversion Seen through the first-person view of a man who only exists in the shadows, this film is made up of fleeting impressions that collectively create a sense of uncertainty about what is real, as he attempts to come into contact with his surroundings. The ocean returns throughout the film, its movement disturbing any real sense of orientation. Disorder appears gradually. Filmed entirely on MiniDV tape and later digitized for editing, the work embraces the qualities of its medium. Grain, color, and electronic noise become part of the films reality.
